Combined, we have 169 children, 130 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
13 of us served in the U.S. Armed Forces for a combined total of 139 years.
31 of us spent a combined total of 104 years earning 11 Associates, 18 Bachelors, 5 Masters and 1 Doctorate degree.
Our most-traveled? One of us has visited 48 U.S. States or Territories, and another has visited 17 foreign countries.
5 of us have birthdays this month, and 4 of us have birthdays in October.
Currently, 10 of us are retired.

In Memory of Duaine Sorenson

Duaine Edward Sorensen, 53, of Fredericksburg passed away Monday, June 17, 2013.
Duaine graduated from Spotsylvania High School in 1979. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was most recently a shop foreman for Del-Ray Glass in Alexandria.
Survivors include daughters Ashley Sorensen and Katie Sorensen; brother Barry Sorensen; stepmother Peggy Sorensen; companion Risa Rogers and her sons Jonathan Rogers and Josh Acors. He was preceded in death by his mother Ruth Sorensen and father Edward H. Sorensen.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 20, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
A service will be held at noon Friday, June 21, at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with military honors. |
