31 of us spent a combined total of 104 years earning 11 Associates, 18 Bachelors, 5 Masters and 1 Doctorate degree.
Our most-traveled? One of us has visited 48 U.S. States or Territories, and another has visited 17 foreign countries.
5 of us have birthdays this month, and 4 of us have birthdays in October.
Currently, 10 of us are retired.

MAZE, Jane Elizabeth,
51, of Richmond, Virginia, died Wednesday, August 15, 2012. Jane was a beloved wife, loyal friend, loving sister, aunt and daughter. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Jane was born in Charlottesville, Virginia, grew up in Spotsylvania, Virginia, and graduated from Spotsylvania High School. She received a music degree from Longwood College before studying nursing at MCV and Germanna Community College. In May of 2002 Jane married Kevin Maze. The couple lived in Richmond, Virginia.
Survivors include her husband, Kevin Maze; her mother, Lura Elder; her brothers, John Elder, Steve Elder and Joe Elder; her sister, Susan Hayes; her sisters-in-law and friends, Melissa Seiler and Lisa Maze; and brother-in-law, John Maze. Jane was a loving aunt to 15 nieces and nephews, Kimberly, Jennifer, Alex, David, Blair, Carley, Sarah, John, Mary, Joey, Jack, Jake, Hanna, Erin and Lura. The family will receive friends at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home on Friday, August 17, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.,
also where a funeral service will be conducted Saturday, August 18 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Vernon Memorial Park.
